The late great Dr. Myles Monroe said, “The greatest tragedy in life is not death, but a life without purpose.”
Purpose will get you out of bed in the morning. Purpose will make you run instead of walk. Purpose will propel you to your destiny.
It is the reason for which you live, create, and exist. It motivates you. It fuels you. It’s objective is to shape you and create a desire which nothing in the world satisfies you unless it lines up with your purpose.
What is your purpose?
Why were you born?
Why get you out of bed every morning?
Dr. Monroe also said:
“People generally fall into one of three groups: the few who make things happen, the many who watch things happen, and the overwhelming majority who have no notion of what happens. Every person is either a creator of fact or a creature of circumstance. He either puts color into his environment, or, like a chameleon, takes color from his environment.”
Every morning I get up to make a life change in someone else. My purpose to see minds renewed, destinies altered, and souls restored.
People are my purpose. Not trees, animals, land, buildings, and the like but people. People are greater than anything. People are the only beings on this earth which are eternal.
If I am not changing lives through Christ and in Christ, I am not moved. A life changed can fuel me until another life is changed.
What is your purpose? Why do you exist? What on earth are you here for?
Don’t watch things happen. Don’t just exist and have no notion of what is happening. Make things happen. Move, run, and propel to your purpose.
Don’t rob the world with your breath. Change it. Make it better. Make it alive. Make it thrive.
