The Mystery of the Blessing

Throughout the Bible, many would say the things of God were mysteries – unknown until another time. Lawlessness, Holiness, Christ, Himself, and marriage are all considered mysteries.  We must understand mysteries of the kingdom of God have been and can be revealed unto us to understand daily living.

To bless or the blessing is a mystery.  To bless is actually defined as God making a person whole.  It is to wish a person well.  To bless is to give divine favor to one and make happy.

Conditions around us can be blessed as well as circumstances, situations, conditions, and most importantly, people.  When you bless, you set out to change it and place God’s hand upon it.

Peter knew this well.  In 1 Peter, 3:8-12, he said, “Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another, love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous, not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, blessing, knowing that you were called to  this, that you may inherit a blessing.”

You have been called to bless.  If you do not like your situation, bless it. If you don’t like your conditions, bless it. If you don’t understand your circumstances, bless it. Most importantly, if you want to see someone or a group of people changed for the better, bless it!

Lose your mind and bless everything around.  Blessing it is opening up the heavens and asking God to place His hand of approval upon it.  You are inviting His presence to a situation.

Don’t like your job? Bless it.

Marriage not going well? Bless it.

Have an enemy? Bless them.

Unable to have children? Bless your womb.

Kid’s education not going well? Bless it.

Money is funny? Bless your finances.

Car or home need repairs? Bless it.

Go around and bless everything around you and watch what God does. No matter how you feel know when you are blessing something or someone, God is going to arrive on the scene and change your situation.

Watch out! There is a change coming!
