The Power of Blessing: 24 Word Blessing Birthed A Nation

And they blessed Rebekah and said, “Our sister, may you become The mother of thousands of ten thousands; And may your descendants possess The gates of those who hate them.” Genesis 24:60

Rebekah was leaving to marry Issac. Her family pondered and waited as long as they could to release their daughter to marriage.  They sent everyone away – her sister, her nurse, Abraham’s servants and men – and her mother and brother blessed her before she departed a 24 word blessing. It was a 24 word blessing which would birth a nation.

Out of that 24 words of blessing, Jacob whose name later changed to Israel. Today, a whole nation is born out of Rebekah.  A small tiny nation with enemies all around who hate them, but they are possessing the gates of them who hate them.

If a 24 words of blessing was upon a woman to birth a nation after thousands of years that are still in existence today possessing the gates of their enemies, how much more if we bless our children will they prosper, succeed, expand, and grow in the favor of God and with men.

Mommy and Daddy, grasp the power of the blessing and begin blessing your children.  Bless them with success at home, in the neighborhood, at school, in the band, on the football and baseball field.  Bless them with peace, prosperity and wealth.  Bless them with power, divine life, and health.  Bless their rooms, their bookbags, and all their possessions.

It is my vision to see every one of my children walked blessed, run blessed, study blessed, play blessed, love blessed. At their homes, in their families, at school, in the marketplaces, they will be blessings.  They will be overtaken and tackled by the blessings of God.

Parents, don’t let your children grow up without you blessing them.  Build a heritage in them of you blessing them. Parents, begin blessing your children.
