I was 29 years old. Serious. Life and ministry was no laughing matter. My mistakes were not to be seen nor heard. My mistakes though were the laughter of others. I was embarrassed.
When the crisis is over things will not automatically go back to the way they were. You will be presented with the unique opportunity of establishing a new normal. There are things you may not want to restore. On the other hand, there could be new behaviors you may want to continue. Choose wisely.
Some say this is the new norm. Some say it will go back to being the same. If this is the new norm or we will return to the same, I do not know. Can the same ever be the same again?
We are four days into the self-quarantine. This is a new norm it appears. What appeared as if it was going to be for two weeks could last for two months or even more. We are preparing for the long haul.
